CCAT Activity on May 14, 2025

On May 14, our President of the Argentine-Turkish Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Özgür Demir, participated in the fifth Ámbito Debate panel, a series of meetings organized by Ámbito Financiero and moderated by editor and content creator Sebastián Penelli.

This edition’s focus was on energy and mining, strategic sectors for Argentina’s economic growth and of great interest to international capital.

The panel was joined by prominent figures from the business and commercial world, including Norma Ramiro, Director of the Asian Chamber; Marina Senestro, Director of Government Affairs at AmCham; and Alberto Carlocchia, Coordinator of the Mining Committee of the Argentine-Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

During the day, the current direction of the country and specific investment opportunities were discussed. In particular, Mr. Özgür Demir shared the growing interest shown by Turkish private sector entrepreneurs in investing in renewable energy in Argentina. In recent months, the Chamber has received numerous inquiries that reflect a clear intention to explore concrete opportunities in this sector.

The Argentine-Turkish Chamber of Commerce’s participation in these types of events reaffirms its commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and promoting sustainable investments between Argentina and Turkey.
