The President of the Argentine-Turkish Chamber of Commerce (CCARGTUR), Mr. Özgür Yücel Demir, met with Mr. Guillermo Rossi, General Coordinator of International Relations at SENASA, to discuss the potential export of live cattle to Turkey.

During the meeting, both parties reviewed the most recent official communications from Turkey’s Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and from SENASA, with the aim of strengthening cooperation opportunities in the agricultural sector.

President Demir requested technical and commercial information, as several business representatives have approached the Chamber expressing interest in developing live cattle export operations —including both beef and dairy breeds— to Turkey.

In this context, CCARGTUR is organizing a business roundtable to connect Argentine producers with Turkish importers and agribusiness representatives, fostering trade exchange and further strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
